Installation specifications and requirements for indoor lighting fixtures
Luminaires and their accessories: Ensure that the luminaires and their accessories are complete and free from defects such as mechanical damage, deformation, paint peeling, and lampshade cracking.
Wire core cross-section: According to the installation location and purpose of the lamp, use the minimum cross-section of the wire core that meets the regulations.
Fixed components: When installing lighting fixtures in brick and stone structures, pre embedded hooks, bolts, screws, expansion bolts, nylon plugs, or plastic plugs should be used as fixed components; It is strictly prohibited to use wooden wedges.
Dangerous place lighting fixtures: In high-risk and special dangerous places, when the height of the lighting fixture from the ground is less than 2.4 meters, lighting fixtures with a rated voltage of 36 volts or below should be used or protective measures should be taken. Luminaires shall not be directly installed on combustible materials; When the high-temperature parts of the lamp surface are close to combustible materials, insulation and heat dissipation measures should be taken.
Specific types of lighting fixtures:
Metal halide lamp: The installation height should be greater than 5 meters, and the wire should be connected to the lamp, but not close to the surface of the lamp. Lamp tubes must be used in conjunction with triggers and current limiters, and should not be used alone. Reflective lighting fixtures installed on the ground should be protected.
Firefighting intelligent evacuation system lighting fixtures: should be fixedly installed on non combustible walls or non combustible decoration materials, and should not be installed on doors, windows, or other movable objects. After installation, it should not affect the normal passage of personnel. There should be no obstructions around the lamps, and various status indicators on the lamps should be easy to observe.
Emergency lighting and safety exit sign lights: installed at a height of no less than 2 meters above the ground. Install above the evacuation exit or staircase corridor side. When evacuating from the stairwell to its corners, it should be installed on a wall below 1 meter. The distance between sign lights on evacuation routes shall not exceed 20 meters, and for civil air defense projects, it shall not exceed 10 meters.
Installation process standard:
Steel pipe as a lamp hanger: The inner diameter of the steel pipe is generally greater than 10 millimeters, and the wall thickness of the steel pipe is greater than 1.5 millimeters.
Flexible conduit and lamp connection: The length of the flexible conduit cannot exceed 1.2 meters.
Lamp weight greater than 3 kilograms: fixed on bolts or pre embedded hooks, cannot use decorative keels.
The diameter of the lantern hook should not be less than the diameter of the lamp hanging pin and should not be less than 6 millimeters.
Fixed large lighting fixtures: Overload tests should be conducted at twice the weight of the fixture.
Other precautions:
Using steel pipes as lamp hangers: the inner diameter of the steel pipe should not be less than 10 millimeters; The thickness of the steel pipe wall should not be less than 1.5 millimeters.
The light wire of the hanging chain lamp should not be subjected to tension, and the light wire should be interlocked with the hanging chain.
Both ends of the flexible wire of the pendant lamp should be equipped with protective buckles; The core wires at both ends should be tinned.
Luminaires installed in rows in the same room or location should have a centerline deviation of no more than 5 millimeters.
Fluorescent lamps, high-pressure mercury lamps, and their accessories should be used together and installed in a location that is easy to inspect and maintain.
Lamp fixation: It should be firm and reliable.
